Hi just thought I would like to tell you a bit about myself.  Firstly I have been in the clothing business for the last 30 years in various aspects.  My first venture was a shop at Coogee in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.  I managed to send that business broke as I was only 23 and even though I had good takings for those days I made the mistake of thinking all the money belonged to me so I spent it.

I have never liked working for someone else as I have trouble working to a time table so I thought what will I do now?  Then my husband at the time (I have had three of them) suggested we should try the markets, so we started to buy AMCO jeans.  Bet most of you do not remember these!  Anyway that worked out really well.  We added other things and were very popular with the added lines.  The only problem being we would get the items once and couldn’t obtain them regularly so we decided to make our own label.

At that time I decided it was time to leave husband number two.  I took the three kids and he ended up with the house which was okay.  I was getting good at earning houses and leaving them.  I always found it worth the peace.

Enter husband number three, who after 28 years, I am still with.  So you see you just need patience.

Kevin was on long service leave at the time and used to cut out shorts by hand for us to take to the sewers.  As we got more popular we bought cutting knives and machines.  We then sourced the work out.  We had little hand paintings on all the tops and pants - a koala bear and ME_OZ painted on the sleeve.

We sold these very successfully at Paddy’s Market for the next 25 years and we are still there today.  We have people from all States and overseas come to find our things whenever they are in Sydney.

So now we come to how we are on Ebay.  About two years ago we realised we were getting too old to keep going as we were.  We go to Bali twice a year and have built up contacts there.  A lot of people love the Bali style clothes but found them too small.  I could see an opening for us to supply in more generous sizes.  I still do all my own patterns and have my own people in Bali to make them for me in the great colours and styles for bigger people like myself.

I have had a great response from people from all states and I think everyone who has dealt with me has found me to be fair and reasonably priced.  I am hoping I can keep a lot of people happy this way as I have always been able to do in the past.
