Our Toolshop is a family run tool store offering online and direct sales to the public. We operate from our warehouse at Factory 21 35-47 Garden Road Clayton Victoria
Whilst we dont have a traditional shopfront nor keep regular store hours this takes nothing away from the service or warranties we offer and the savings from operating this way can be passed on to you, our valued customers.
We are not your typical anonymous internet sellers and can be contacted at almost any time via e.mail or by telephone.

We are tradesmen with 25 years experience in both the automotive and building trades. We believe in our products and won't sell anything unless we would be happy to use it ourselves - You will find much of what we sell being used in our own work shop. We take pride in what we sell as well as our communication, packing and service. It is a fact that many sellers both on EBay and in tool shops don't know how to use the tools they sell - WE DO
Ask us how something works or whether it is right for the job and we will give you the right information and not just point you to something simply because we sell it.

We accept Paypal only because ebay force us to and unlike direct deposit which is usually in our account the next business day Paypal payments take up to 7 days to receive and therefore we reserve the right to ship items only once payment is actually received into our bank
This means that Paypal payments may be delayed up to 7 days before being shipped whilst we wait for payment.
Under NO circumstances will we accept Paypal for pickups as there is no Seller protection.

We are constantly seeking better and more cost effective means of getting your goods safely to you.

Weekdays we ship the same day that payment is received.

We cannot be held responsible for freight delays or lost or damaged freight.

For peace of mind standard freight includes basic insurance up to $500 cover and postage includes registration and insurance for the full value.
We will not be held responsible for postage damage or loss.
We will make insurance claims on your behalf but will not be held responsible for delays bought about by the time the claims process takes.
The buyer is responsible for all freight/postage associated with insurance claims and freight for replacement if not paid by the insurer.
We will not replace goods until a claim is paid.
We reserve the right to make our own local deliveries at the market rate.

Pickup is not available unless specified in the listing however please feel free to phone us before buying and we will see what we can do.

We are unable to offer pickup by the buyers own couriers.
Any exceptions will offer pickup within the listing description.

Unfortunately we are not able to combine postage for ebay auctions as we set the price all of our auction items with the full postage cost factored in.

We will combine postage on most 'buy it now items' that are purchased on the same day but only those that can be safely packed into the one box.
This is dependent on the total boxed weight being within the Australia Post and Occupational Health and Safety safe lifting limits.

There is no set formula for the price of combined items however a general rule is that the the first postage is for the full amount and for the highest value and subsequent items are charged at approx 60%

For sales made through ebay all invoicing is provided by ebay.

We are not able to re-issue invoices for ebay sales.

Your ebay invoice can be printed from ebay.

We like to give and receive feedback and consider feedback an important part of the sale process, equal to payment.
It is a nice way just to say 'Thanks'.
We always leave feedback but we wait to hear that you have your item before doing so.
This helps us keep track of what has been received and what is still in transit. - If we don't hear that you've got your item then we don't know to leave feedback.

We will employ the services of a collection agency to pursue non paying bidders as your bid or 'buy it now' purchase is a legally binding contract and is part of the terms and conditions of being an ebay member.
We reserve the right to invoice Non Paying Bidders for cancellation of a purchase or non payment and this invoice covers the costs we incur stocking, replacing stock on sold items, listing fees, time and effort.

We don't agree with Private auctions and that's why all our auctions are public.
Many sellers run private auctions, but we don't know of any reason to hide a bidders identity, unless perhaps it's to hide dummy bids - afterall the things we're selling aren't top secret.
Over the years we have observed many sellers starting at ridiculously low prices and then bidding them up with alternative id's.
Some have even left themselves feedback when they won their own auction.
We do not participate in this practice.

Many of our products come with manufacturers warranties and we do our best to honor these warranties.
We must point out that freight both ways is the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed.
We do not offer refunds but do offer repair or replacement.
